During my life time I have been truly blessed by an association with many great people. It is my intention to seize upon this opportunity to pay my deepest heart felt respect to those great people by telling the world about them and by revealing some of the interesting things about them and what they mean to me; things that should never be forgotten. It has been an indescribable honor to serve with these gallant people as they served with honor and determination, and in many cases, gave their lives for their country and in what they believed in.

In a military sense, there is of course, one of my most beloved and respected leaders, Edward H. Butch O'Hare and a long list of squadron-mates who I flew with, fought with, and worked with all during my thirty one years of active Military service in the U.S. Navy. I feel duty bound to lift up these great guys with interesting things for all to see and appreciate. These war-time experiences with my buddies and others, involved operating with the fleet from the decks of a number of famous aircraft carriers: USS Long Island (CVE-1), U.S.S. Nassau (CVE-16), USS Charger (CVE-30), USS Yorktown (CV-5), USS Enterprise (CV-6), USS Princeton (CVL-23), USS Belleau Wood (CVL-24), USS Wasp (CV-7), U.S.S. Hornet (CV-8), USS Essex (CV-9), USS Franklin (CV-13), USS Independence (CVL-22), USS Cowpens (CVL-25), USS Intrepid (CV-11), USS Bunker Hill (CV-17), USS Hancock (CV-19), USS White Plains (CVE-66) and the USS Lexington (CV-16).

Post WW-II service with the fleet involved the USS Wasp (CV-18), USS Coral Sea (CVB-43) and the USS Hornet (CVS-12). These great battle-worn ships truly had a heart and sole and as a Navy Man, and according to tradition, I am compelled to refer to them as "Her" or "She" with great respect. They too were my friends who provided support and love in every sense of the word.

Before joining the Navy and again after I retired, there were many other great people who functioned in my life as Mentors, Guardian Angels, Companions and Loved Ones who played important rolls in both educating and molding me for the challenges of life. Some continue to sustain and support me when the path way grows dim and uncertain.

Below, you will find a number of individual dedication stories, all designed to paint a living picture of these great people to let the world know how much they mean to me.
